About Us - who we are
The Parish of Holy Trinity South Chatham is a geographical area which straddles the boundary of the County of Kent and the unitary authority of Medway. The Parish encompasses three communities, each of which has their own church building - St. Alban (Blue Bell Hill), St. David (Lordswood), and St. William (Walderslade).
The Parish is a "Local Ecumenical Partnership" between the Methodist Church and the Anglican Church (Church of England). The Parish therefore combines the traditions, liturgy and ministry staff from both denominations. As such it is part of the Medway Methodist Circuit, and Diocese of Rochester.
The L.E.P. has been in existence for over 25 years and so many members of the congregations are neither just one denomination nor the other, but have joint membership of both.
The parish is led by the senior Church of England Minister - the Rev. Marilyn Ilyas.
